It might happen that two different best practices have a common goal and share the same spirit. For instance, a newcomer didn't see that a similar practice to the one she suggested, existed in the practices repository.

To resolve this situation, you can merge two practices together if you think they have the same intention. Just open the practice definition, click on the Edit icon, and then click on the Merge practices button at the bottom left.

You can then select the practice you want to merge it with. You will have the option to select the name and description you wish to keep. All the existing examples will be merged in the kept practice.
